Haunting Past

It has been nearly two years, since I have started looking in to my own blog. I have stopped writing the blog after the college life. So I thought let me start it again, as blog is one of the best way to present your thoughts, feeling’s etc. Let me start/re-birth my blog by updating what was my carrier for past 3 years from May 2008 to May 2010.

May 2008 – August 2008:
These 4 months are golden day of my life. I have enjoyed utmost in these 4 months. I have been roaming all the places to my native, holy trip, Bangalore without any bother or thinking about my future as I have been waiting for only one thing, my MNC joining date. Then slowly boredom came in to my life, with nothing day to day goals. Then suddenly one day atom exploded in my heart and fear started. What’s that atom?

September 2008 to October 2008:
Lehman Brother Bankruptcy which came on September 15 2008, as an eye opener for the entire world. At that time I have realized that recession has started, so as a consequence, my joining date will be delayed. But still I hoped for the better future. These two months there are nearly 6 companies for which I have attend the interviews/written test. Out of which one company result’s has been put on hold after go to last round. I have been in Bangalore for 15 days during this period, searching for the job, but all my efforts went in vain.
I never believed in the fortunes, but my hard times made me to believe me in that too. In my native, one of the saint said that I will be having good time from March 2009. But I didn’t take it up seriously, so still haunted for the fresh jobs.

November 2008 to Feb 2009:
I think Deepavali, festival of lighting has brought some dim light in my future. I don’t know what made me to travel to Hyderabad all of sudden without any prior booking. May be that is what God has showed me the way. As soon as I went to Hyderabad for my uncles (Srikanth) home, he has made ever thing ready for me. Like he has planned for joining courses, so I joined the java course but I have no interest in learning java. I could have joined .Net too, but I don’t know why I joined Java.

On the first day of my first class, at 9.00 AM which is too early to wake up at that time for me. I went inside the class and took the last seat. I had no intention of learning. The only intention why I joined the course was, to avoid taunting from my neighbors. But the professor Chandru who thought the core java is really awesome. He thought the java in such way that, I have got the self interest in Java. From then on, I have become the hard core fan of Java and J2EE. Still the notes given by him which is around 4 notebooks only for core Java is kind of bible for me. Then later on I attended the other course of JSP, Servlets, EJB and oracle 10g by different professors.

For all these 4 months my duty was to attend the class daily for 6 hours, 2 in morning and 4 in evening. My first class starts at 7.00 to 9.00 AM in the morning core java. Then I will get back to my home have lunch and after taking rest for 2.00hrs and again starts to my class. The journey is for 1 hrs. Then attend the classes for 4 to 9 PM. Now I need to catch the standing bus, and get back to my uncles home. It will be almost 10.00PM when I reach my home. Then have dinner and go to bed to dream for the joining date. This period can be said has my struggling period. Nothing came in to my way, I tried all possible mean, but all went in vain. Then I had decided it has been long time, let me go back and look for the job either in Chennai or Bangalore. I have booked the ticket to Chennai back.

In all these struggling period, none of my friends came for the kind of help. The only people that surrounded me were my family. Thanks for all of them, including my dad, mom, mama & family, bava, akka and my both grandma.

Then what did I do after coming to Chennai, How did I get in to MNC, will be the next part. So just tune in to my blog café.

The showroom now has been in opened in 6 different centers including Gurgon, Hyderabad, New Delhi. The Showroom is fully air conditioned and consists of fabulous collections. They have been segregated from infant to old age people.

There are international and many Indian brands available such as wrangler, Lee,Denim etc. It is best place for shopping in this summer season. You can catch from handkerchief to shoes over there. If you have a plenty of money in this recession period, you can become a complete man\women in fraction of seconds.

Miserable life

Hi gags, its long time since I updated my blog. So thinking what to post on my blog, I decided to write up on my life after my college days.

When I was in my college, me always thinking when these colleges will get over and join some company to become an independent guy. But now the condition has been extremely reversed. It has been 6 month since my college got over, so far no news about my joining. I’m sitting idle hoping for the best and waiting for my day. As an idle man will have lot crabs running on mind, now me too have the same thoughts. Some crabs like, “what will be my future?”, “What is next?”, “Whether I’m going on right path?” For all this, the answer has to be still discovered.

All nights have become nightmare for me. Thinking all those stuff and trying to discover something. Some advises to bring future into your control but frankly my future is controlling me .I guess only the almighty knows all these answers. Hoping to happen the best soon and waiting for the dogs day..

Hi dude, at last one of my dream as come true. Thanks to god for making all theses thing happen. You may think “What is that dream?” The dream of buying a new cell phone. After a long analysis and long gathering of information from friends, there was choice between two cells of entirely different brand. The choice is of Nokia 5610 Vs Motto Roker E6. At last the confusion was sorted by my dad, preferring to go for E6 as it sounds to be some what stylish then the other. So let me talk of its features and drawback.

Features:

Best for rough guys who handle the phone roughly
Screen size is much better
They give of 1GB card with the pack.
You can use of some of the application like PDF and excel sheets
It can also be used as web camera. The clarity is not up to the original web camera

Drawback

The major drawback is message facility. For Manamdhan guys, this cell won’t work.
It supports only real player files.

Other then these two I’m not finding of much draw back. Now I’m praying for the other dreams to come true. Will let you know other dreams, when they come true.

End Of Clouds

Hi gags, it has been long time since I have turned up my blog. So I thought of writing up my college life which has been at the final phase. College life is one of the precious moments for most of them. But for me, It just a passing clouds. There have been no great moments and no harsh moments too.

Our farewell has been conducted successful by the juniors. It’s been really great time, but it will be much more if there is lot time specification. But our bad time, the farewell has been cancelled saying that it will take long time and create a problem. So we gags decided to have get together, there have been two get together. One for CSE-A and another for CSE-B. See the Unity of our department. But any How I guess I will be attending both and have fun.

At the final instance, I need to thank all my staff, friends, and every Human who have made my life such grand successful. In mean time, I need to apology all if I have knowing or unknowingly hurt any one in my life’s.

As of me M.S Dhoni will be luckiest person in this world. He got all the thing in his way in the short spam. Now he is savior for Indian cricket. From the beginning, I was in the favor of team selected by the captain. He needs the man, who listens to his word and who comes along with him. Now he has proved to the entire cricketing world that his choice has been perfect mix.

The bad phase has again started for the senior citizens, their ODI doors have been closed for ever and ever. So it best choice is Dravid and Dada need to specify their retirement. Their have been controversy from the start of the series, whether this team will perform better in Aussies against Aussies. Since the team lack experience, but captain has proved that ODI doesn’t need experience they need form. So my full support will be to Dhoni and his young Gun Teams as they beat the World champions in very bad manners in their own country after 29 years.

IPL Auction

The IPL is emerging to biggest assets for the International players. They have made totally 78 players who have signed IPL. All these players will be auctioned as if they are prestigious product.

This action is conducted by the famous auctioneer Richard Madley. This will take place entirely in closed room. Sony will be telecasting the editing part of the action after each segment. The room consists of franchise repressing the 8 different states. Only two members per franchise are allowed inside the room. They auction is scheduled to take place at the Regal Ball Room of the Hilton Oberoi in Mumbai and starts at 11.00 AM on 22 Feb. and may go on up to midnight.

Of the 78 player some player have been given the iconic standard, which mean they will be paid 15% greater then their highest paid bid in their respective franchise. The iconic players are Sachin Tendulkar (Mumbai), Rahul Dravid (Bangalore), Yuvraj Singh (Mohali), Sourav Ganguly (Kolkata), and Virender Sehwag (Delhi).

Rules for Auction

The bid starts with the annual "base player fee" that has already been fixed by the IPL.
The players will be divided into "sets" of approximately 12 each, according to their base player fee, cricketing specialty and expected availability for the opening season. A random draw will decide the order in which players go up on the block. Click here too see Auction list
One designated bidder from each franchise will raise a paddle to indicate a bid, with the bid representing the fee per season to be paid by the franchise to the player.
No bid can be withdrawn.
The franchise can bid up to maximum of $5million and minimum of $3.3 million. They can not cross the boundary beyond the $5m.
The franchise can have maximum of 8 international players and can have only 2 Australian players.

So all the franchise teams are striking up their calculator and mind to tally the auction budget.

Project is one of the hectic in college life. Now we have been facing it. At last we have completed our project and the 3 review and getting prepared for the final one. Our project is Comp N Cell, based on VNC network. The abstract of my project is as follows,

ABSTRACT:

We propose a virtual network computing (VNC) based architecture for accessing the desktops of remote computers from a cellular phone. A viewer is provided on the cellular phone that enables the user to see and manipulate the desktop of various remote systems such as MS Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX. The system to be accessed must be running a VNC server and it must be attached to a network. A proxy is used to send the image of the desktop to the cellular phone, to convert different devices, to suppress network traffics, and to support recovery from an unscheduled disconnection. To reduce user effort and solve problems inherent to the cellular phone’s small screen, several functions are provided on the cellular viewer. A prototype of the proposed architecture has been implemented using Java and has been tested on a Java-enabled cellular phone emulator.

Anna University is really great concern for the students studying in affiliated college. They have been still lot of thing which can not be understood in their correction pattern.I really admire the way for their correction, this because if you think if you would fail in one of the paper, you will be getting top marks in particular paper and other sense is if you think if you will be getting top marks then your bound to fail in that. That is greatness of Anna university correction.

I have an experience of 7 semesters. All the Semester I have been passing on luck basis, some of my friends won’t believe in it. If you really want to see my graph of percentage in each semester,see the variation in it.

Still no one has discoverd what going on while correction. At last Anna University sucks.

Literal Patient

You may think of what do I mean by saying “literal patient”? This New Year has started off with some disappointment. But that is part of man’s journey. As I am still in teens, but some time I think I have become an old man so soon. They are couple of problems in my body.

One of my nostrils has been blocked for past 3years due to continue rubbing of my nose. Doctors advised me to go up with operation. But I am still lagging to do it. I am afraid of operation as it may cause some more damage.

Now the new problem is my eye, which is known as “Kerctoconus”. This came from my birth. But it will evolve and stabilize as we get older. At present there is no treatment and I guess I’m going to use contact lens soon. Actually the problem is shape of my cornea has changed from oval to conical. There by decreasing my visual effect and more glaring at night time while driving.

The next one is my fitness. I may be tentative to get blood pressure as result of genetics. So they advised to reduced salt and chilly in my food, work for my body fitness. So I’m working out in gym. But this is not a major concern.

India has made it once again. They have won the test match with great confidence. They not only won the test match and also broke out the Australian successive wining streak. To be more open we should be in lead by 2-1 winning the test match in Sydney. But that was won by Australian, played with 13 member team. This wining is real heart broken for Ricky pointing and teaching him good lesson. Congrats to the men in blue. Men in blue really goon well through this series with pthan coming back to game after along time with good match winning effort. So guys congrats, keep rocking. They deserve the treat today.

My college has been real great experience for me. It has thought me how to deal and how to tackle pressure. There is separate post on my college experience. But this post is regarding my project. This is final semester so all making ready for the main project.

Our project is Comp N Cell, which is accessing computer by remote based. This project is selected after much speculation from our HOD Mam. The project which college allocated for us is CNC-LMD Machine. The budget of this will be nearly 7lakhs so dropped it off. Now budget of this new project is 20,000 bought from training center. I was not able to attend the first review due my tour planning. The group members are Ram, Praveen, Ragav @ Anna and me.

An intimate friend is one who does not do whatever you like always.But does what is good for you if you even don't like it.

A friend in need is a friend in deed.

There are many such quotes. But all these are really humbug. Friends are said to be saviour in reality, they are not saviors rather they are killers.So guys based on my experience these are the following tip in dealing with friends.

Never trust a friends to the core.They may drop you in a pit.

A girl can never become a good friend.

Keep some distance with your friends.It will make the relation not stronger but an long live relation which is unhealthy.

Never share your personal with the friends. Such as girls friends details, they may make a lead.

They will not think of your well being but rather some sort of burning in their stomach seeing your success.

So buddies beware of your pal.

Time for Break and Fun

Huh, the at last the exams have been over. These exams have tested my patience. No it’s time to enjoy, enjoy and enjoy. I guess this will be our last holidays to enjoy because we will be joining our job by this time and will not get time for enjoyment. So my tentative iteration for this holiday is:

5\12\07 & 13\12\07 : Will be in Chennai doing up some work on my blog and some film if possible.

13\12\07 to 18\12\07: Will be in Banglore for my sister house warming Funtion and enjoying up some beautifull "sight".

19\12\07 & 21\12\07: Boarding train to Vijaywada for my native Tenaili and will be in mu native seeing through some films.

22\12\07: Will be in mom native Guntur and returning back on same day to Tenali.

23\12\07 & 24\12\07: Tentatively go to Badrachalam. Going to Hyderabad to my uncles House.

25\12\07 to 29\12\07: Will be in Hyderabad, intending to enjoy and do with lot with film so many lined up. The first one Athidi and Takkiri .The major one I am looking for is Punjabi Dhaba for delicious chicken food.

30\12\07 to 1\1\08: Going for Shirdi and enjoying New Year with Baba blessing.

2\1\08: Will be taking the rest the whole day or some blog work.so bunking college for 3 day and project review.

3\1\08: Getting prepared for entering the jail life and to face unwanted fellow.Return train to Chennai.

4\1\08: Back to jail i.e. College

P.S: The only thing i hate in this iteration is I am roaming all alone to all the place.Need some company. Girls will be sponsored by me and for boys it's self sponsor.

Thus Indian at last made their new coach. Gary Kirsten who has an fantastic record as a batsman while playing for his nation. Kirsten, 40, was one of South Africa's leading batsmen, playing 101 Tests scoring 7289 runs at 45.27 and playing 185 ODIs scoring 6798 runs at 40.95. He has a nice experience over coaching profession. Soon after his retirement from Test cricket in March 2004, he embarked on a coaching career, taking up an assignment as Cricket South Africa's high performance manager, after which he set up the privately-run Gary Kirsten Cricket Academy.

But coming to controversial view, do you think Kirsten can fit in as Indian coach? As of my opinion and my answer will be “No”. How came a foreigner will be true to his profession? At least he will be against or in dilema to support which nation, when India plays against South Africa. Why the selection panel are not looking for Indian cricketer as coach? What happened to old legends like Gavaskar, Kapil dev, sidhu, Ravi,Patel and Singh. I guess they have much better exposure and can understand the young guns mind easily then Kirsten.

The best way to explain the selection panel is to ask them to watch chake de India and get some guidelines from the director. We need a coach who can tackle the senior as well a train the new comer, make them to mingle with senior with out any complexity. this can be done by an Indian only. But now all has been over Gary has taken the charge and have to look for the outcome in WC2011.

Sleep In Class

Friends this post is based on my experience, in my +1. This is an experience in one of my Hindi class.

I used to sit in the first bench beside entrance door of the class. Don’t think I am studious so sitting in the first bench. I was sleeping in the last bench, so class co-coordinator asked me to sit in first bench, so that I will listen to class. But what has happened is entirely vice-versa. As of today I never listen to any class. It was time for my Hindi professor to enter the class. His name is Mr.Srinivasan from Bihar. The wise thing about him was he has very pale voice. So no matter how hard I listen, only half the stuff enters in to my ears.

This hour is just after my lunch hour. I had heavy lunch prepared by mom. She gave me 2-chappatti and curd rice. Due to such delicious dish, I couldn’t stop burping during the class hour. At one point of time, I myself without my knowledge have fallen in to sleep. With my hands on the cheek and eyes closed. I was enjoying in to dreams, not with my girl friends because I am good boy at that time. Suddenly don’t know what has happened, I opened my eyes and was taken back on seeing Hindi sir in front of me. He was asking me “yah tum kya kar rahe ho, raat mey se soye nahe kaya”.

I was started bluffing “sir aisa nahe...main tho” meanwhile the bell rang and he left the class saying “aaj raat achi tarah sona”. Thanks to god for saving me in this situation. The entire class busted out in to laugh.

Chennai-Is Telugu!!

The name “Madras” capital of Tamil Nadu state has been changed to Chennai. The political reason behind it is Madras is not the Tamil word. But to be amazed Madras is a Tamil word but Chennai is not. The chief minister had been informed that ‘Madras’, like Bombay, was actually a Portuguese coinage, derived either from a trader named Madeiros or a prince called Madrie. So the chief chauvinist to justify his decision to rename the city of ‘Chennai’, the word used (though not always) by Tamil speakers.

More unfortunately, however, the chief minister had overlooked the weight of evidence that Madras was indeed a Tamil name (derived, alternative theories go, from the name of a local fisherman, Madarasan; or from the local Muslim religious schools, madarasas; or from madhu-ras, from the Sanskrit and Tamil words for honey). Worse, he had also overlooked the embarrassing fact that Chennai was not, as he had asserted, of Tamil origin.

I heard that long back the name of the Madras was Chennaipattnam. But this has been changed to Madras during the British rule,having this in mind the thought that Madras has been the Portuguese word. So they again changed the name to Chennai.

It came from the name of Chennappa Naicker, the Raja of Chandragiri, who granted the British the right to trade on the Coromandel coast — and who was a Telugu speaker from what is today Andhra Pradesh.

This has been the wrong thinking of the Tamil language specialist.

MOTORIZED CNC-LMD

Introduction:

The Motorized CNC-LMD provides you with innovative high performance technology to handle the ever increasing demands of today automation industry. It is fully open CNC architecture, using a single, powerful Pentium CPU, Image capturing device, gives you a leading edge CNC performance and flexibility.

Objective:

The objective of the project is to replicate a model using the CNC-LMD when a digital image is given as an input to the system.

Existing Scenario:

The existing system which is present in the PLC – LMD (Programmable Logic Control Lathe Mill Drill) is to design a model, based upon the Predefined input conditions given. In the CNC - LMD (Computer Numerical Control Lathe Mill Drill) the inputs and the conditions are given in the computer based upon which the system will perform the operation by repetitive feed backs. Since there is feedback in the system one can expect a higher Precision in the model.

Our Project:

In the Proposed Automated CNC –LMD the object which is to be designed is captured in images from various angles and they are sent to the system. Using the image we can measure the various dimensions which are stored in the computer and transferred the CNC – LMD which perform the designing of the model based upon the input dimensions obtain from the image

Buddies this is not the regular post but a bit different post in favour of the society.Before penning down my views on this topic, let me tell

What is Media?

Materials that hold data in any form or that allow data to pass through them, including paper, transparencies, multi part forms, hard, floppy and optical disks, magnetic tape, wire, cable and fiber. This is the one form of definition with regard to Technology.

But I am talking of something different with regards to trade press (magazines, newspapers, etc.).

Media has the greatest power then a prime minister or the politician. It is the device which brings out the truth to the public. Media includes paper, Television, Visual Media and so on. “Media” chumma peru keta adhurudula .This is the actual power of media once upon a time for the politician and have respect toward public. But this is not the situation in this era.

In this era Television channels and newspaper have spoiled the ethical values of this word “Media”. Rather to bring the truth to the public they are trying to Increase their TRPs by putting on wrong information and focusing on some fancy news.

There are some examples to prove on my view.

Recently a flyover has been collapsed in Hyderabad. The death toll in it is 13 to 20 people. But by listening to the ongoing government they have published as 1 person has died and many injured. Even “The Hindu” also came with this news.
The Rules of Media is it should not focus on image which hurt the people. But the during the kumbakonam school fire and bomb blast in Hyderabad they have focused the dead bodies with head less and legs tearing out, bodies burned to the core. Listening to this we get a drop of tear from my eyes.
Is a chief army brigade death at border who is keeping guard of us has to be in main page or a criminal Sanjay dutt judgment on possessing arm act.

All this is done to increase their TRPs and in making fast money by cashing on the news in wrong sense and wrong way. In the race to become more popular and to make money they have broken all the limits media must follow while serving to build a healthy and progressive society. They have no respect for the sentiments and ethics of the people and land whom they serve to, with their immense power to influence the masses they just make judgment like a true dictator rather than a good advice of a true friend as they previously used to do. If it will be going in the future then we people have to think about the role of media in our life.

Things Happening

It has been difficult time for me for the past few weeks. There are many issues that are running around me for the past few weeks haunting my mind. These issues have been sad as well as happy. Let see the issue:-

Tour:- As of some people the tour has been well organized but as of most of guys in my class, the tour has been pretty bad. According to them their tour enjoyment has been spoiled by me. But I guess, I did not stop them to enjoy by tying up their hand and legs. The thing is it's easy to blame then to organize. As far as I am concerned, I am satisfied with what I have done. My dad as said “if u take up responsibility their will be definitely a problem behind it”. Now I am facing up those consequences.

GRE:- This has been the difficult task for me. I have booked up my dates on August13 but till, now I did not get my passport and did not start up to prepare primarily. But most of them are preparing hard for it except me. Do not who is going to help me out in solving this.

Symposium:- This has been decided to be conducted as a mega event but I guess whether it works out as there are no company to sponsor it on. I have asked up IFX for sponsoring this event, they too promised me to give me up minimum of 10000 bugs but now I have dropped up the plan to work on it.

Cyber Shot:- The most happiest thing is I have bought up cyber shot and an mp4 which I will be getting most probably on 20^th of august. I am extremely waiting for that happy moment of taking up snap on my camera.

Birth day:-The next thing I am waiting for is, my birth day which is at the end of this month. I guess it will be happy as of my previous one. Let me see what the new thing is going to happen on that precious day.

10 Golden Days

Day1 (21\6\07) - This day will be a remarkable day in most of our department students life. We started our tour to North on this day. Train is schedule to depart at 7.15pm, the Grand Trunk express by which we are traveling. On climbing the train and picking up our seats, we started with playing card, chit chatting and many new games which has been sleepless night throughout.

Day2 (22\6\07) - We have been traveling in train on this day too. We get out of the train as soon as the train halt and take up some snaps and climb in to the running train. We enjoyed a lot by pouring water on each other and moving in to train from this end to the other. I personally thank some my friends for sharing their food through out my train journey.

Day3 (23\6\07) - We came to Agra at 6.00 am, where we have been halted by some corrupted TTR for money. But we are so adamant in not giving the money, showed him all the proof and after long discussion in his language we came out of station. We went to hotel delux plaza refreshed our self and went for sight seeing like sikhandar, fort and wonders (Taj Mahal). I was really happy to see one of the 7 wonders. Then we moved to Delhi by train which was most enjoyable one, dancing for almost 3 hours. Then we moved to shimla, one of the hilly regions by bus.

Day4 (24\607) - We reached the shimla at 4.00 pm, took some snaps and made up friends over there and got up their mobile number too. We had a walk over some area with our gags and returned to hotel by 9.00pm to see the review of Sivaji- The Boss on sun TV. We have been watching the TV and commenting on each and everything the whole night.

Day5 (25\6\07) - We gags went for trekking early in the morning. I have been given rebirth on this day. If there has not been a rod in front for a support, I will not be now to share my experience with you. We went to Kufri by horse for 100 bugs after long bargaining, which was the stupendous experience. There we dressed our self in their tradition and had snakes on our neck and enjoyed to the core. After that we had some shopping in mall road and moved to kulu.

Day6(26\6\07) - We went Gurudwara, where the Hot water comes 365 days known as "Hot springs".We fellows made a holy bath in that temple, worshipped the gurus and felt the peacefulness beside heavy cool water running aside the temple. From there we went to river rafting which is the best highlight of the tour and great adventurer. We had a camp fire tonight on which each and every one have been dancing with their pairs and jumping to the moon.

Day7(27\6\07)- This day we went to Rohtang pass which is filled with ice almost all the day reaching the temperature to negative. We clashed our self with those ices and moved to the peak, where it has been difficult to breathe. Neela who got freezed and had drunk to recover from it. The highlights of this will session is Jairam who got missed up in the mist. We almost declared that he has ended up his life, later found him in his jeep sitting like innocent fellow. Now it time to go to Delhi again by bus..

Day8 (28\6\07) - We reached the Delhi at 6.00pm. I did not get time to shopping as we had clash with the organizer. But later went for the superstar film sivaji, the late night show with girls which was the best experience and to bring them back to hotel safe.

Day9 (29\6\07)- We visited some of the place like museum, lotus temple, Qutab Minar and enjoyed the south Indian meals(he he ...). After consuming which our bala sir took half boil. Again its time to get back to Chennai and had joy full train trip.

Day10 (30\6\07) - The most important high light of train trip is “Thapanvan” who was busy in the train with his fashion girl "Sue". I was not well on this day so was sleeping up the whole day, with little bit sadness in my heart.

I am extremely happy to organize this tour. I hope it is success full besides many problem. I thank our god mother and the staff who accompanied us for making it a grand one.

As soon as TCS has rejected me, there are 4 days gap for the Cognizant. These 4 days has been difficult period in my life. I was feeling disappointed for a day but later on, consoled my self that there are lots of company coming, which I am sure will get in to any. I was not able to chat in orkut as every one changed their caption as TATA and formed the communities for TCS2008, which pained most of non placed guys especially Vijay who blessed them with vulgar words, one of them is babbu.

Cts have a written test and interview held in single day. We don’t know the pattern of the exam as the pattern has been changed. So we just gave a glance on some of the topic in R.S Agrawal Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. As usual the day started with the pre-placement talk, which was absolute boredom. The exam was pretty difficult, we were not able to touch on verbal section so as usual went for choice CCC... and quant was easier. I was able to solve all, and there is one new section which was pretty good to solve.

We have to wait for the result for 3 hours and result was announced at 3.00 pm. There have been total of 19 panels and I am waiting for my name to be read out .18^th panel member has been reading out, I thought I am unlucky to be get selected but at last my name was read in last panel which brought my heart beat to normal. There 8 to 9 members in panel and my panel consist of 8 members. My chance came at around 4.30 pm

Me: Good evening Sir. Vamsee

Interviewer: Very Good evening. Srinivasan

I: What did you do well in written test?

Me: Sir, I guess I did quant section well.

I: yes, you just lost two marks in the quant section.

M: Thank you sir.

It was a snacks time. He asked me to take it. But I did not take it and again he asked me to take the chips, I took it and ate in such awkward manner the entire lab heard the sound of me eating chips. I kept the half of bitten chips back in to his plate as soon as he asked me the questions. He ate that one too.

I: Tell me about your self?

M: I said which I mugged and showed all my certificates. (He saw my two Olympiad certificate in mathematics which I secure 75% and 78%)

I: oh good, you have got such valued certificate at the age of 15.What area you like to solve?

M: Menstruation and I said some reason for preferring that area.

I: Shall I ask you some question from that, will you solve?

M: Sir, I will try to solve (I was bit confidence as it is my favorite area)

I: what is area of a circle?

M: pi X r2

I: Then what is area covered by a bee if it rotates around the axis.

M: Sir it is area of the circle.

I: What is the area if the axis is not a point but a straight line?

M: number of rotation multiplied by area of circle.

I: You are wrong, think of it again.

M: (I was not able to get any other solution for it so gave up).Sorry sir, Can I Know the answer?

I: It is length of the axis multiplied by area of circle

I have a doubt over it because it will the giving the volume of the cylinder but I am not sure whether I can oppose him. So I just agreed to his answers

I: what is the number if a number divided by 1 is 0?

Number divided by 2 is 1

Number divided by 3 is 2

Number divided by 4 is 3

Number divided by 5 is 4

Number divided by 6 is 5

Number divided by 7 is 0

M: I solved for nearly 10 min and got the answer as 119.He asked me to explain the answer and I did it.

While I am answering to this question he agreed my answer for the previous one said his answer was wrong.

I: How many equation is needed to solve the 2 unknown?

M: Two equations.

I: K. then solve the equation x^2=y^3?

M: Sir, it is x=8 and y=4.

I: What do you know in your core course?

Me: DBMS.

I: Explain the concept of Normalization and keys?

Me: I explained it well.

I: This time he gave me series filling which I do not remember.

M: But in this I made a mistake and later did it on and explained him how I did it.

He still asked me some two questions which I do not remember which were very easy to solve on.

I: Do you have any Questions?

Me: Sir if, I get in to TCS sorry sir CTS what course should I learn?

I: You will know it before you join.

I came out at 5.40 pm. I thought I am out of it for using the name TCS and I was confident I will be selected before that. But my confidence broke out as soon as I uttered those 3 letters. I was in tensed situation. I have to wait till 7.00pm to know the results. But one of my friends Prasi came out and said I am the first in that panel. She was in charge for that panel. I thanks Mahesh and Ram for supplying us pencil and rubber. My special thanks to prasi for letting out my tension an hour before. At last my name is in the Cognizant members list getting ready to sit in bench with out project .But while the name has been read out we guys enjoyed a lot and shook up the hands with praveena lady whom we have looking in pre-placement talk.

This semester has been the awesome period for most of the students in my college by getting in to some of the MNC companies like TCS, CTS, Infy and so on. We have been looking for this opportunity for the past 3 years. So most of them are preparing for this process for past 3 months neglecting their current semester. The experience on attending these companies has improved my confidence level a lot.

TCS-Experience the Certainty

14/3/04:

I started preparing for the aptitude just the day before the online test. Now the session started with pre-placement by talk by Ms.hemagopal which most of the guys started sleeping. On the online test day I was not feeling well my head was paining to greater extent, running nose and wheezing. I thought “How I am going to clear the online test”.

But some how cleared the online test by clicking on the choice bbb for vocabulary and was able to do some quant and again clicking ccc for the logical reasoning. They gave us the form and told to come on the next day for Technical Interview and Managing round. I thought I could go home and read at least any one of the subjects. But I slept off as soon as I went home.

15/3/04:

Got up early in the morning (7.45 he he), had a look on the project and came to the college. As soon I entered they asked us to attend for the Interview. On this session which was around 12.30 I went for it, there were two people

One bald one and a thin one

Interviewer: Tell me about your self?

Me: I started telling about my school life and my parents but he interrupted me before I complete my self .I got tensed up as soon as he stopped me.(Here I said I have traveled to many places in my Hobbies. Actually it is bluff).

I: What are the places you have traveled so far?

M: Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune.

I: when did you travel to Delhi?

M: (spontaneously) Sir some 1 year back.

I: what was the Hotel you were accommodated? (Hope he must have guessed that I am bluffing)

M: I was thinking for some time and said some name that came to my mouth.

Then he came to technical part.

I: what is your project?

M: I started saying, he again interrupted me asking “what is front end and what module and why are you doing this project on C. I am unable to answer some of the question he has put on the project.

I: What is a data structure?

M: I showed some shabby reaction on my face and said “I do not know sir”. At that time I remembered of sano who promised me teach DS but he failed to keep it.

I: Do u know RDBMS?

M: No sir I have not come crossed it. (But it is nothing but DBMS).

I: He asked do u know DBMS. (The bald man was not audible for me).

M: sorry sir. I can’t get you.

I: Did you have DBMS in your course.

M: Ye sir. (He asked me some query which I answered pretty well. But I asked him to repeat the question at least 3 times. He is not yet audible for me. )

I: What is Normalization?

M: I started answering it and he stopped me went to other question before completing it. My uneasiness feeling was able to see on my face.

By this time Bald man has decided I am not fit for the organization

I: Do you want to ask any question?

M: No sir. I know pretty well about TCS as some of my relatives are working in their. (Actually this is not to be said, which I am unaware of it)

I: Will you go to Pune if you are selected ?

M: yes Sir. I have great passion towards Traveling. So I can go anywhere and everywhere.

M: Thank you sir.

This process went on for 45 min and after few minutes my name was read out in rejection category (lol).

I am not the only person who got rejected, there are fellow to accompany me like raja, samba,vijay, boopu (he is from my panel).Now here we formed the CTS group and went to home with empty hands and wishing the placed students

Memory of 2006

January: It was the month of holy trip and returning back to the jail life. During this month, I had visited two famous holy places, shiridi (Sai Baba) and thirupati (LordVenkat).The saddest thing is returning back to jail (college) life, a new semester start.

February: It was time to get back to my old business to chat with friends and to have lots of groundnut (kadlai).This has been boring period with no other interesting activity going around me. But a nice period of gaming went on (Max Pane).

March: March was the month of Marks. It is the month of high tension prevailing in each of the Anna University student, which most of them would have forgotten the subjects written by them. It is time to get scolding from parents. But March has been happiest month for me because I have not scored such mark in my life and hope will not score in the future also.

April: It was the month of bunking the classes in college. It is the period of cultural and sports activity going around in my college. So its nice period to bunk the classes and look at the juniors girls. But unfortunately none of then are up to my expectation.

May: May was the Month of getting Madness by studying the entire book in a single night. I hate this month the most. Its time to get back to our business and dusted books. I try to get clear in all subjects, with the border marks.

June: It was mixer have happiness and sad. The exam continue till the mid of June and now it’s the time to disco and enjoy to the utmost. I had been to my favorite place Hyderabad during this month.

July: It’s the time to get back to the college life. It’s the month in which one of the great personalities was born. It’s none other then your beloved friend (vamsee).

August: It was unforgettable month for me. It’s the month I came across that I have made friends with wrong people and bitch (Gopika).This month proved to be worth full for me.I got to knew “How the people are?” and the way to behave with the people.

September: This was the best month to prove myself and show I am also one of the students in my college. It has been first time I have taken the responsible of conducting the IV to my native (Kalpakkam) and work for the college in getting accredited.

November: It the month to get back to study. It has been highly busy period in writing of records, model exams and all study stuff to get clear in the semester. In this period I got interested in blogging and posted my first blog.

December: It’s the month of enjoying and playing all the stuff. This month has been the period of enjoying and fighting with ugly pests (big goose), who has the attitude of separating friends.

This prestigious Board will certify Accreditation for the college. This certificate is of high importance as it will be valued all over the world and by some of the leading companies like oracle, IBM.

This Accredited certificate will be of two types:

This Certificate is for a three years due period. It’s based on the infrastructure available in the college and if the total marks obtained is less then 732/1000.
***** star:

This certificate is for five years (max) due period. It’s based on the well sophisticated infrastructures and if the total marks obtained are greater then 732/1000.This is the most prestigious one, and only few colleges like Crescent (cse), Mepco (civil), etc have acquired it. We, the department of Computer Science wanted to join in this race.

So we students and some staff members worked day and night, for the past two to three months to get this prestigious certificate. “Yours truly” (found at the end of the blog) was also one of the working member for the NBA. There have been many boons and banes in working for this NBA.

They are as follows;

Advantage:
U can bunk the classes legally.
U can hang out in semi-air conditioned dept lab throughout the day.
U can put on kadlai with girls in front of the staff.
U can freak out all over the college saying as “NBA member”.
No need to attend the class for more than an hour (tat too for attendance).
Can have interaction with the staffs.
Learn to make forgery certificates, which will be useful in the near future.

Disadvantage:
Low internal marks will be awarded in some of the non departmental subjects.
Have to attend the college on some of the non working days.
Will be missing some of the last benches galattas in class.
Missing most of the classes.

So I wish that this NBA works should be continued for the next year too. But unfortunately the works have been completed and the results will be announced in a month course.

Exams ulla kathai...

This is my first blog and writing after getting inspired by reading blogs of the excellent blog holders like babbu@Ramanujam, Mahesh and Raja.

Model exams are the coolest in our college life. It exposes us to write all sort of stories if u don know the answers in semester exams.Sem by Sem interest in writing these exams becoming less since it does not have any affect in our internal marks. So to start with,lets take discrete maths, one of my favorite subjects at the beginning of the Sem.But now due to lazy staff, we fellow mates also lost interest in the subject.

But these exams are easy to pass as the questions will be divulged in advance. But there are some fellows like me who never bother to read even these questions and take it in an easy way. So like this I have taken hat rick subject nope. Now its the situation to pass in dbms .So thought of studying by waking up early in the morning (7.30 am ha-ha), read some 3 questions in the bus and blabbered something in the paper, hoping that none of the staff take time to read the content in it. Now it is final exam microprocessor which was earlier postponed by the rain god.As usual did not even care to touch the book in the bus also and went to college coolly thinking that the subject count is going to increase by 4.But fortunately or unfortunately the guru of story writer in exam(its none other than Ram) taught some 4 questions. As usual I wrote my own story in answer sheet.

But fortunately this time my count stayed at no: 3 itself. (HA Ha HHHHA :-))))))) ) Now it s the time for practicals.Don't know who is going to rescue me this time.
